At the competition office every accepted competitor will get a start number, swimming cap and a (disposable) Championchip for time measuring.
Using of own chip is possible.
The use of the official swimming cap of the race is compulsory.


Those who perform the race successfully get the competition's special FINISHER T-shirts, and a nice medal at FINISH.
On the announcement of the results every Finisher gets a diploma. Every competitor can go to the swimming pool for free on the week of the race, (23.07. - 29.07.), can enter the pasta party and „Ironman as a minor science” discuss and has rights to stay at the cold buffet reception.

Doping control is possible

In case the race doctor finds the condition of the competitor unfitted for going on with the race, the general race marshal takes away the competitor’s race number.Drafting is forbidden, it leads to immediate disqualification.Competitors born before 1992 are allowed to participate in the competition only.

If the weather conditions won’t be appropriate, the start of the race will be modified.
