The Hungarian Long Distance Triathlon Championships in Nagyatád will come of adult age in 2008... the age of eighteen. The grown-up age which entails rights along with responsibilities. And a birthday like this definitely deserves an exceptional celebration.

The importance of the externals and the results has always mattered along with the outcome which can be clearly seen. And that is beyond doubt. Nevertheless, the preparation and the journey we take in every single year till we experience the almost ritualized ceremony of the long weekend in August are of no less importance.

The main aim of the website renewal is to bring together that great family which comes to Nagyatád once in a year in order to celebrate this particular birthday. We are sure that the Ironman is not just a simple competition for the members of this great family. For them it is not only about completing the 3800 meters long swimming, the 180 kms cycling or the marathon running but about much more... It is a lifestyle which foms our everyday life, our personality, our order of values; and which helps us through the hardships we encounter from time to time.
